About the Biological Author

After retirement I, the biological author, am still trying to figure out what to do when I grow up. Decades ago, during a rebellion against formal education I joined the Air Force. After a "come to Newton moment", I opened up to formal education and took it to a bit of an extreme. With a Bachelor of Science, Master's, and Ph.D. all in applied math along with a Master's in industrial administration, I was able to join the work force and happily retire. During retirement, I returned to my penchant for education and got a Master's in Electrical Engineering. Along the way I became interested in neural networks and reconsidered one of my published books from the perspective of AI. The result is this book and it is freely available with just a button click. As for me, what's next? I'll have to figure it out.
